We live in a death and grief illiterate society.
People are taught to fear death, shun it, and push it away. Therefore we don't know how to have the conversation about end-of-life.
If someone you love is dying and you’re the one making the calls, you don’t need more jargon—you need help, now. I’m an end-of-life doula: I support the dying person and the family with calm presence, clear education, and practical guidance so you’re not doing this alone.
As your doula, I offer non-medical, emotional, and spiritual care. I help you think about and talk through your wishes, options, advance directives, the ceremonies, and how to have the conversation with your circle of care.
Your first conversation with me is free. After that call, I’ll recommend the right level of support, and we’ll schedule the next step.
What Happens Next
What a doula does (plain language)
An end-of-life doula helps you:
- understand what’s happening and what to expect
- Ask better questions of hospice, palliative care, and medical teams
- Create a plan for the final days (comfort, visitors, environment, rituals if wanted)
- support vigils and bedside care (daytime or overnight support, when available)
- reduce overwhelm so you can focus on love, not logistics
Cost
The first call is free. If we decide to work together, I’ll offer clear options (hourly support and simple packages) based on what your family needs. No pressure—just a plan. Prices range from $75 per hour to monthly packages for a duration of $750 or more per month. Let's discuss.
What happens next
- We talk. You tell me what’s happening and what you’re worried about.
- I make it make sense. I’ll explain what’s most likely to happen next and what to do first.
- We build support. If you want me on the team, we can schedule your next visit/call, and I can coordinate around hospice/palliative care.
