What is Spiritual Direction?

It is not therapy. It is not coaching. It is not someone telling you what to believe.

It is a private conversation — unhurried, confidential — where you can speak honestly about what is stirring in your spiritual life, and someone who takes that seriously listens.

We notice what is changing. What is calling you? What needs your attention now?

I work with Pagans, ceremonial magicians, Thelemites, and seekers who don't fit neatly into any category. If you're uncertain whether I'm the right fit for your path, let's talk.

Who I Work With

Maybe you practice alone. Maybe you're in a coven, or used to be. Maybe your beliefs have shifted, and you're not sure what you are anymore. Maybe you're tired of performing your spirituality for other people.

If any of that is true, you're in the right place.

I see seekers 18 and older. All races, genders, backgrounds, traditions.

How This Works

We meet once a month — sixty minutes, one-on-one, by video or in person.

I only hold a few spots at a time. When those fill, I close the practice and focus entirely on the people inside it.

Real spiritual direction doesn't scale. It requires presence. So I protect it.

What I Am — and What I'm Not

I am a spiritual companion, not a therapist.

If what comes up in our work calls for mental health support, I will say so — clearly and without judgment — and I'll help you find the right referral.

This work is a complement to that care, not a substitute.

I follow the ethical guidelines of SDI Companions, maintain my own spiritual supervision, and see my own director monthly.

Confidentiality

What you share stays between us. That is foundational to this work.

I am a mandated reporter under Washington State law. If I believe there is imminent risk of harm to you, a child, or a vulnerable adult, I may be required to act. I will tell you that before I do, if at all possible.

Fees

$150 per month for individual sessions. $50 for group sessions.

Payment is due before we meet. If cost is a barrier, let's talk about it.

To End Our Work Together

Either of us may stop at any time. I'll give you 30 days' notice, and I ask the same of you.

If two sessions pass without contact or discussion, I'll consider the relationship closed and let you know.

The Questions

These aren't a test. There are no wrong answers. They're here to help us both figure out if this is the right fit.

Spiritual Direction Questions

Why do I ask about pre-existing conditions?

  1. To understand whether someone is currently receiving mental-health treatment to support in the spiritual practice.
  2. I am not diagnosing
  3. I am not treating mental-health conditions
  4. I am not collecting information for clinical judgment
  5. I may acknowledge mental-health realities, but will not diagnose, interpret symptoms, or offer medical/clinical guidance.
  6. To ensure safety, please disclose psychotropic, psychedelic, or mood-stabilizing medications.
  7. To avoid offering practices (breathwork, fasting, journeywork, visualization) that may contraindicate certain conditions.

We will both be on camera or in person at all times.
