What is Spiritual Direction?
This is a safe space where individuals can explore their spiritual experiences, relationships, challenges, and connection to the transcendent. It's a collaborative and contemplative process that honors your beliefs and facilitates your connection with the sacred in a way that resonates authentically with your heart and soul.
I see seekers of all ages (18+ please), races, gender identities, ethnicities, and spiritual beliefs. I am most suited to seekers who are Pagan, or ceremonial magicians (such as Thelemites), or other spiritual seekers. I currently companion to seekers of several of the Big Five faiths. Let's discuss if I am a match for your beliefs.
As your Spiritual Companion, I provide a non-religious, nurturing, and non-judgmental environment in which to navigate the complexities of your spiritual journey.
Drawing from over 30 years as a Pagan priest and global executive, I guide seekers through the sacred work of discernment—helping them listen for the soul’s whispers and recognize the divine within and around them. My approach blends ancestral wisdom, ritual, and modern contemplative practices to foster clarity, connection, and spiritual authenticity, combined with hands-on experience working with dozens of individuals.
I aim to support and empower individuals on their spiritual journey, supporting them to embrace the wisdom within and develop a deeper awareness of their spiritual connections and purpose.
As a Death Doula, I will not administer medication, no matter how minor, or offer medical advice. If, during the course of your spiritual direction work, you wish to move into death doula work, I will only provide that modality for ethical reasons.
I've provided work as a trusted advisor to seekers and executives for 20 years.
Our Relationship:
Although I believe it is appropriate at times to discuss psychological and relational difficulties in the context of spiritual direction, I am not a psychotherapist nor do I provide such services. At times, I will make recommendations when I determine my skills do not meet your needs.
Spiritual direction is not psychotherapy, counseling, or financial or legal advice. You are responsible for seeking appropriate professional support in these areas, and I will help you find referrals when needed.
If I sense that your needs exceed the scope of spiritual direction, I will discuss this with you and offer referrals.
Confidentiality
You have a right to expect confidentiality of the information we share. I commit to keeping our conversations strictly confidential.
I am a mandated reporter under Washington State law, which means I am required to report suspected abuse of children or vulnerable adults, or imminent risk of harm to self or others. Examples include harm to self, minors, or elder abuse.
If at all possible, I will discuss this with you before taking action, though in situations of imminent danger, I may need to act immediately.
Ethics
I follow the ethical guidelines for Spiritual Directors from SDICompanions.org and my own which describe my practices and accountability.
I have a spiritual companion whom I see monthly, and I am in Supervision, as required by the ethics of spiritual companionship. I keep minimal notes for support of your spiritual journey.
Termination:
The format of Spiritual Direction may not be for everyone. Either of us may discontinue Spiritual Direction at any time. I will give you 30 days' advance notice, and I request that you do the same if you intend to discontinue meeting together.
If you miss two appointments without notice or discussion, I will consider our relationship terminated. I will inform of that.
Fees
My fees are $150 per hour, and we generally meet monthly. That is, $150 per month. Fees are due before our monthly meeting. I am open to discussing the cost.
